Redwall

This series is based on the character of Martin the Warrior. The novels were written between 1986 and 2011. The Author intertwines different characters and things that happen in different books. It is a little violent in some parts. Throughout the book there are songs, poems and riddles. Brian Jacques is detailed. The series are about the adventures of the human-like animals living in Redwall Abbey and Mossflower Wood and surrounding islands. Frequently the peace-loving creatures of Mossflower are called upon to become warriors to defend themselves from  bands of “vermin” such as rats, weasels, and foxes.
